Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI)

Seniors are invited to participate in lectures, led by experts in their field or university professors, about arts and culture, history, current events, religion, travel, and more. In addition to lectures, LLI also provides discussion groups, book and creative-writing clubs, and manages the Centre’s library, which includes English, Russian and Yiddish books and audiotapes. Part 1 (June 22): As one of the officers of Zommet, the speaker will share some operations in which he participated and discuss the real people who lead these daring ventures.
Part 2 (June 29): The Special Operations Unit of the Mossad Cesarea became notorious after its failures were exposed. Successes and blunders will be discussed.

100 Years of Spying in Palestine & Israel
Part 1 (July 6): The dawn of the 20th Century brought the powerful countries of the world to pry on the Middle East oil resources and strategic ways.
Part 2 (July 13): The Mossad, Shin Bet and IDF Intelligence Unit were established to collect Information about the threats to Israel. Thrilling affairs of spying for and against Israel during Israel’s first 40 years will be discussed.
