On Friday, September 14, 2018 the Bernard Betel Centre hosted the second annual High Holiday Community Luncheon in partnership with CIJA and the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.
This event brought together elected officials from all levels of government and local social service agencies to serve lunch to over 180 guests. Some of those in attendance are the most vulnerable in our community and may not get to celebrate the high holidays if it were not for this meal.
The Luncheon included remarks from CIJA, UJA Federation and our Executive Director, Gail Gould, as well as several levels of government. We enjoyed a delicious meal, some great entertainment and went home with a jar of honey to welcome a sweet new year. Shanah Tovah!
