The Knitting and Needlepoint Club at the Bernard Betel Centre, facilitated by Gigi Davidson, has been knitting hats for Israeli soldiers through the cold winter months. The group followed a specific pattern to ensure the hats meet the army’s requirements. The group sent their knitting to Hats for Israeli Soldiers, an Israel-based grassroots organization. The group has also started knitting baby clothes to donate to local hospitals for the spring and summer months.
