To our volunteers who have stepped up to offer their help during the pandemic, we thank you for your courage, passion and commitment.
To our volunteers who have temporarily stepped back due to their own health concerns or those of their family, we miss you and look forward to having you return to the volunteer team.
The National Volunteer Week theme this year is The Value of One, The Power of Many.
Together, we have met the challenges of the past year and responded to the urgent needs of our members, clients and community. Together, we will come out of this period to rebuild and respond as a resilient and strong team.
You have and will continue to be the strength, spirit and soul of our centre.
From Sunday, April 18 to Friday, April 23, we encourage you to visit our Facebook and Twitter. Each day we will have videos, messages, stories, and posts that highlight the contributions of our amazing volunteers.
The past year has been a challenge. We honour the 159 community volunteers and 29 corporate volunteers who have contributed over 9,200 hours of service since the start of the pandemic.
You are true heroes – powerful and valued. Thank you!
Warmest regards,
Cheryl Besner
