Warren’s Toronto Challenge – Update!

In early May, we shared Warren’s Toronto Challenge. Warren saw the Betel Centre’s May E-Newsletter looking for walkers for the Toronto Challenge, and since he was unavailable to take part on the actual day of the event, he decided to take on his own walking challenge. At the age of 80, Warren set a goal of walking 500,000 steps in 30 days. For every 1,000 steps he took, he donated 49 cents to the Bernard Betel Centre and came in weekly to update on his progress.

Last week, Warren wrapped up his walking challenge, and completed almost 714,000 steps in 30 days, and donated $350 to the Bernard Betel Centre’s Toronto Challenge campaign! Thank you Warren!
