Bernard Betel Centre Welcomes the Right Honourable Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau to Rosh Hashanah Event

On Thursday, September 14, the Bernard Betel Centre hosted a special Rosh Hashanah Concert for hundreds of community members to celebrate the New Year. The evening included a fun and festive concert by Michail Khinkis and Anna Chernyavskaya, as well as delicious apples, honey, and honey cake.

Ahead of the concert, the Right Honourable Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, MP Ya’ara Saks, Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health, Bernard Betel Centre’s Board of Directors President Marcus Staviss, and Daniel Held, Chief Program Officer at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, brought Rosh Hashanah greetings and well wishes to the Toronto Jewish Community.

“In these uncertain times, it’s so important to be there for one and other. The Jewish Community knows this more than anyone.” Said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. “It’s great to be here tonight, thank you for including me. May this New Year bring you health and happiness. Shana Tova U’Metuka!

Thank you to everyone that attended this wonderful and memorable event.

  1. Thanks for this posting. I don’t think I received info about Rosh Hashana Dinner.
Is there anything happening for the rest of the Yom Tovim?
