In response to the latest guidance from the Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility, and following a comprehensive review of our health and safety measures, we are updating our masking policy. These changes are effective immediately and are summarized as follows:
Updated Masking Policy for Staff, Volunteers, Members, and Visitors:
- Masks remain optional for staff, volunteers, members and visitors, but are strongly recommended while in crowded spaces and when you are within 2 meters of another individual for 15 minutes or longer. Medical-grade masks are available at all entrances of the Bernard Betel Centre.
- Staff, volunteers, members, and visitors may still join in for sharing a meal or beverage in the Bernard Betel Centre Café without a mask.
- All chiropody patients are strongly recommended to wear a mask during your appointment with the chiropodist. Please ensure your face mask is properly fitted (covering your nose and mouth) if wearing one.
