Sunday Morning Lecture
Is History a Camper Trailer or a Saturn V?
As humans have progressed, how much of our history have we kept in hand? Have we hauled it from one age to the next to help us survive future hardships or, Saturn V style, have we dropped it off in stages to lighten our payload as we’ve shot to the moon?  Is it possible that our former breakthroughs, traditions and cultural landmarks are in essence a means to an end and doomed to become the scrap metal of tomorrow? Does anything stand still as we navigate the future? Is it possible our very humanity is up for grabs? Speaker: Nick Maes. Light refreshments included! This program is funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
