CIBC Corporate Volunteers Brighten the Day of Many!

Our centre was brightened by the smiling faces, generous spirits and kindness of Team CIBC on Wednesday, November 6. As part of the United Way Greater Toronto Day of Caring initiative, staff from CIBC volunteered their time to help deliver meals to 100 of our isolated seniors in the community as part of our Meals on Wheels program. We were also pleased to welcome Dariusz Kwiatkowski, Sponsored Employee with United Way who spoke about the tremendous impact agencies like the Bernard Betel Centre are making  throughout the community. Team CIBC wearing their red t-shirts with the phrase “One for Change” delivered the meals with a smile and a few kind words.  To our seniors, they delivered so much more.

We are proud to participate again this fall in the United Way Day of Caring initiative and thank Team CIBC for making a positive change in the lives of our seniors.
