BMO Corporate Volunteers Deliver Smiles and Meals!

Another great day with the BMO corporate volunteers! It was our pleasure to welcome back the corporate volunteers from Bank of Montreal (BMO). As part of the United Way Day of Caring initiative, 13 staff from BMO volunteered with our Meals on Wheels program. Despite the dismal weather, the BMO team brought their energy and enthusiasm and helped to brighten the day for 90 of our most isolated seniors. We were happy to see some familiar faces who have volunteered with us in the past and a special thanks to Kim Orzech, BMO Activity Coordinator for her expertise in organizing the team. Kim’s mother, Sylvia, who is also a member of the Bernard Betel Centre joined in the fun. On behalf of the United Way, Nicole Lund, thanked BMO and recognized the Bernard Betel Centre for making a positive impact on the senior population  Nicole also had an opportunity to go out with one of the teams to deliver meals. Thank you United Way Greater Toronto and BMO for your continued support.

If you are interested in volunteering, as a community member or corporate team, please contact Cheryl Besner at 416-225-2112, ext. 127 or cherylb@betelcentre.org.
